i liked dark souls better for the connected world lol but either method was perfectly fine and worked great. in fact im glad they did both becuase it was what the sequel needed to make it feel different enough to justify the sequel but familiar enough that it didnt stray to far from the gameplay i loved to begin with

the learning curve really isnt that steep at all, play the first half and you have the basics down.
and how would you know the story is boring in the demo when you skipped all the cutscenes?? im not saying the story in the demo is great or even that good but it only showcases 5 min of the story, nobody has any idea what the story actually is. that would be the equivalent of me escaping capture in skyrim then stopping and saying the story sucks when thats as far as i got

-the interface is decent but its just an interface, nothing to get excited over
-dungeons were lame, they looked better than they used to but the were still boring to explore and in most cases only had one trap which was a swinging door
